The Holiday season is upon us which means lots of eggnog, family, shoveling snow (our Canadian friends) and of course, long wishlists. What’s on Coversion artist Jessica Herandez & The Deltas list? Why, a hippopotamus of course. This fun, jazzy new take on the Gayla Peevey classic will keep you dancing all the way into 2018.
Dark, brooding and oh so suspenseful – Coversion artist Ben Collier’s take on the Seal hit is just as the name describes, ‘Crazy’. This track has gotten the Seal of approval (JB showed him it on a flight from London to LAX – true story), and would fit perfectly in a trailer, a BIG film or a dramatic television show scene.
We own the commissioned master & all the stems 100% – making it easy to download, tweak and show your clients for immediate feedback.

Our latest addition to the RHR team brings Rolling Stone recognized pop artist Henry Hall on board! Hall’s music is fun, catchy and clever drawing humour from his own personal experiences and doesn’t shy away from belting it out. Hall’s inherent quirkiness fits right in with us at Rocking Horse Road and we’re stoked to have such a cool industry shaker on board. He attributes a lot of his sound to the likes of The Weeknd and Paul McCartney, who like Hall are not afraid to sing in a higher octave. Are we ever thankful for that! He has already scored a really cool sync – which we’re not sure we can talk about yet, so we’re just going to keep you on your toes until we’re ready to announce.
Welcome to the fam Henry – we’re happy to have you!
Check out Hall’s video for his song “Company” off his latest EP My Friends Don’t Like Me below!
“As one upbeat, off-kilter track bleeds into another, there’s a sense of unabashed, mood-lifting, retro goodness that feels boldly infectious” – Lauren McKinney, The Wild Honey Pie

With our newest addition to the RHR family things have gotten a little quirkier – in the best way possible. UK lads The Helmholtz Resonators have joined forces with us at Rocking Horse Road to share their unique take on music and life with the rest of the world. Heavily inspired by the ethos behind concept albums, the band have created a repertoire of songs as eccentric as their imagine – drawing influences from The Kinks, LCD Soundsystem and other music industry game changers. Their most recent album “The Mystery of Woolley Mountain” was released as not only a digital album, but also a video game and an interactive song e-book. These guys bring something new to the table and after all – variety is the spice of life, right?
Welcome to the team guys, we’re excited to have you on board!
So most of you have probably heard of a little movie that hit theatres recently titled Moonlight – you know, the 2017 Golden Globe winner for Best Motion Picture – Drama? The movie starring Mahershala Ali which has created a ton of Oscar buzz? Now that you’re up to speed we can excitedly tell you that the Ad running on tv and online promoting the film features a composition written by RHR Composer Jeremiah Pena and was cleared through RHR!
Check out the trailer below and give a big hoorah for the team at RHR – we told you 2017 was going to be our year.
“It was done with such incredible understanding. It was so human.” – Helen Mirren on Moonlight
“From first shot to last, Moonlight is about as beautiful a movie as you are ever likely to see. The colors are rich and luminous. The music — hip-hop, R&B, astute classical selections and Nicholas Britell’s subtle score — is both surprising and perfect.”- A.O. Scott, The New York Times
“I cannot recommend this film enough. Every idea, every theme, every emotion you could possibly feel as a human being you feel on screen.” – Trevor Noah, Television Host
“Moonlight offers a broad audience the chance to see that humanity, love, and affection exist inside—and, in fact, are freed within—the intimate realms of queerness, Blackness, and carcerality.” Steven Thrasher, Esquire
You may have seen this on TV and thought ‘who is that badass singer’? Well, it’s our very own Jon Epworth! Thanks to our friends Steve and the team at SOHO Music Group in London and for making this happen! Not only did Jon lend his vocal, but he composed and mixed this track before work one morning. That’s a very Jon Epworth thing to do.
This has been airing in Europe since April or so. Since November it’s come to North America. So, now… it’s evvvvvvverywhere! Go team, go!
